Lead Consultant

Mercy Karanja is a seasoned leader with over 30 years of experience strengthening farmer organizations across Africa and globally. She has held key roles at the Kenya National Farmers Union, IFAP, and the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, where she championed institutional development and farmer empowerment. Her work has been pivotal in establishing regional networks, enhancing cooperative systems, and advancing farmers' influence in development and markets

Olivia is a development professional with over a decade of experience at the intersection of program implementation, global philanthropy, and management consulting. Olivia holds an LLB (Hons) from the University of Sheffield and has published research on market access for African producers.
